Random realisation: It Pays to Be Good!

What do you do when nothing is going your way? Do you ask, "Why me?" What if you feel disappointed, despite doing good to others? Does your honesty and frankness make you vulnerable? What if you suddenly seem to think that it is an unfair life, where people are unreasonable irrational and self centered? These are just the times when your life seems like a saddle. And yes… it really hurts!

So the big question is what do you do? Well, from what I experienced, all you need to do is, ‘Shift the Way You See the World’. Having a different outlook could take away the pain and change the path of your life, because feeling that you're a victim may only be imprisoning you in your pain and you get caught in your own circumstances. Most problems arise when we see life from an "UNFAIR" perspective and the glitch is in your own eye. So the challenge is to overcome it with a positive attitude as all what matters is 'how you choose to react to difficult things in life'

With a positive approach, I realised that it really doesn’t matter how the others treat you or how many times you get disappointed by the world, but how ‘you’ could put a smile on others face and do a good favour in return to someone who might not have been as good or favouring to you. The ultimate satisfaction comes from within, knowing that you can ‘do’ something for someone, no matter how undeserving, and that you did it, overcoming your hurt, humiliations and disappointments in life. And for the rewards, I’m sure would come from God. As someone had rightly said that, “Everything that was wrong, unjustified and unrighteous, will be ‘made’ right by God in due time”. The key is to sport the ‘right attitude’ at the right time because when your attitudes are right, there is no barrier too high, no valley too deep, no dream too extreme, and no challenge too great for you.

So no complaints, no regrets, no hard feelings, only a seed of hope that one fine day everything will work out together for the ultimate good because everything indeed happens for a reason! :)
